today i went to MGM it was fun, i road the hollywood tower of terror, and no it is not terrifying!!!! just makes you feel funny, cuz of the whole gravity thing... well i miss john!!!!

sunday..... well i went to epcot today.. that is a place in disney world.. it was ok, but it was really cold.. weird when you are in florida... well i had a little fun and i will be going to mgm studios tomorrow...

hey its destiney today i went out with john and we saw pursuit of happyness... it was really good.. i am glad i got to spend some time with him, well kindof cuz his friend david tagged along, but anyways i am going to miss him, while im gone.. i wont be able to call or e:mail.. well anyways i am leaving now... till next time

True Love should be "unconditional, always forgiving, non-judgemental, and kind. The world, nor we as individuals, will ever be perfect, we must strive for perfection in ourselves before we blame anyone, or anything else for that matter, for our "unhappiness"...also what happened to the quote, "Live and let live?!"

But never mind here I am back again, and today I thought I would talk a little about Tibet and the plight of the Tibetan people since chinese occupation began back in 1959 . I hope that all who read this entry, of all religious denominations, will send their prayers and good wishes out to the wonderful long suffering and deeply compassionate people of Tibet. With the strong wish that someday soon the Chinese government will find it in their hearts to restore this beautiful and historically rich Himalayan Kingdom back to those who can then once again rightfully call it their homeland. To those who may not be familiar with the situation, I have chosen to use the words of one of the foremost interpreters of Tibetan Buddhism to the west SOGYAL RINPOCHE. This piece was however written some 14 years ago, and some figures I have changed to bring them up to date, And so I quote... Forty seven years after the Chinese occupation of Tibet, the world is still ignorant of what has happened, ignorant of the extent of the terror, destruction, and systematic genocide that the Tibetan people have endured and are still enduring. Over 2 million people out of a population of 6 million have died at the hands of the Chinese; Tibets vast forests, as indispensable as those of the Amazon to the ecology of the world, have been cut down; its wildlife has been almost totally massacred; its plateaus and rivers have been polluted with nuclear waste; the vast majority of its six-and-a-half thousand monastries lie gutted or destroyed; the Tibetan people face extinction, and the glory of their own culture in their homeland has been almost entirely obliterated. From the very beginning of the Chinese occupation of Tibet in the 1950s, many terrible atrocities were committed. Spiritual masters, monks, and nuns were the first targets, because the Chinese Communists wanted above all to break the spirit of the people by wiping out all traces of religious life. Many, many stories have reahed me over the years of extraordinary and moving deaths, in the worst possible circumstances, that witnessed and paid final tribute to the spleandor of the truth the chinese were desperate to destroy..... When I read words like this written by Tibetans. ( H.H. The Dalai Lama is often quoted as saying he feels no hatred toward the chinese, but feels sad for them that the bad Karma they have accumulated can only come back on them and cause them great harm.) I wonder how they manage to exercise such restraint and still manage to feel even great compassion for their aggressors. This to me bears testament to the truly loving and spiritual nature of the Tibetan people. And that their religion is not just lipservice but a real practice incorporated into their very being. This strength and belief must be an inspiration to us all. As for us as onlookers, now this situation has been made known to us surely there are things we can do to help in our own small way. I for one have decided to write to our prime minister Tony Blair to ask what his Governments stand is on this situation. and this I shall continue to do until I recieve a satisfactory answer. I shall also become a member of the free Tibet campaign all proceeds of which go toward the continuing struggle for the freedom of Tibet from Chinese occupation. I want to add something. I think that in the early years like the 1st century and whatnot, wars were more acceptable. Today, they are much more bloody. Technologies have made it possible to take out an entire popululation with one bomb and in no situation in this ever necessary. There have been take overs of cities and states for as long as time can tell and these are a natural progression of men. Now it is no longer about fighting for a cause but that some people really like to be in power and some like shoot people. And I think some people have no soul, but that is just the crazy anti-American liberal talking. May I also add that everyday that I wake up I am so thankful that I was lucky to be born in this country as opposed to so many other countries around the world. I am thankful that I can write this blog about nothing or everything that is important to me and (legally, under the Constitution) should not be questioned arrested or killed for disagreeing. You should be grateful that you are lucky enough to be able to read this blog no matter where you live and think of the people who have nothing. There goes the crazy liberal again. Goodnight.

why do people think that questioning a war or anything the government does is the most Unamerican thing someone can do? Is it not American in every sense of the word? I think that there are many ways to make friends other than fight against them. Read Ismael, I don't think my ancesters had a right to conquer...they killed millions of people without a second thought. Yes, I know that means that I would not be here today but maybe the world would be a better place? It is a story of the takers and leavers and the Takers believe a lot of crap that isn't true about what we have the right to do one this earth. Well guess what the earth can fight back and it will always win. ps that wins for the most random entry ever!

wow... i have not been on here for like ages. well dougs surgery went well... he did have to go back in the OR on Friday, but that was minor. so.... and my mom was in the hospital last week : ( but all is well with her. she just was having trouble breathing. and as for the winter formal<3 all went GREAT! me and my lovely gown! and my AMAZING boyfriend! : ) wow.... i am uploading photos still : ( so once i get them all uploaded i will send more. Super Bowl Sunday = Commercials : ) Plus GO COLTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
